Anantara Residences Miami — Edgewater, Miami

The Residences

Anantara Residences Miami — EdgewaterA two-acre Thai sanctuary, rising six hundred feet over Biscayne Bay.

Anantara Residences Miami is the first time Anantara — the Thai luxury house under Minor Hotels, twenty-five years and sixty resorts deep — has built homes in the United States. Developed by 1000 Group, the team behind One Thousand Museum and Villa Miami, it rises fifty stories at 3601 Biscayne on a design by Kohn Pedersen Fox, with interiors by Milan’s Studio Patricia Urquiola. The organizing idea is not a view but a feeling — Nam Jai, “water from the heart.”

The tower stacks three worlds. Fifty Anantara hotel suites sit low; one hundred and twenty resort residences rise above them; and one hundred private condominium homes — three to six bedrooms, quarter- to full-floor — occupy the upper levels, with penthouses and a rooftop helipad at the crown. From there the views run 360 degrees across Biscayne Bay, Miami Beach, and the skyline, six hundred and fifty feet up — the whole tower built to Florida Green Building, WELL, and Fitwel standards.

What sets Anantara apart is a floor given entirely to wellbeing. The 30,000-square-foot Vitality & Longevity Center pairs ancient Thai healing with modern diagnostics — cryotherapy, hyperbaric oxygen, IV therapy, a thalasso pool, a Himalayan salt hammam, hot-and-cold plunges, red-light zones — alongside movement studios and a longevity concierge. More than 30,000 square feet of Thai-inspired gardens wrap the base, a two-acre sanctuary at street level.

Inside the homes, Patricia Urquiola keeps the hand European and calm: curated stone, tile, and wood; Wolf and Sub-Zero kitchens; spa-style baths with in-suite sauna and red-light options. The private residences carry their own 25,000 square feet of amenities seven levels up — pool and plunge pools, wine room, theater, podcast studio, even a padel club — and Anantara’s Nam Jai service runs through all of it.
