Pagani Residences — North Bay Village, Miami

The Residences

Carbon and travertine, held still above the bay.

Pagani Residences carries the hand of a hypercar maker into a building. On a North Bay Village island at 7940 West Drive, the curved travertine tower was drawn by Revuelta Architecture International for developer Riviera Horizons, with interiors curated by Pagani Arte — the design studio born from Pagani Automobili.

The tower holds 70 residences, four to a floor, each one a corner with terraces eleven feet deep that fold the bay into the living room. Ceilings run to eleven feet; Schiffini kitchens carry long stone islands; bathrooms are lined in travertine with freestanding tubs set to the water. The materials read the way a Pagani interior does — stone, oak, leather, metal — measured by the hand rather than the spec sheet.

What sets the building apart sits at the base. The Pagani Paddock private garages give a handful of owners a glassed, climate-controlled room for their cars, lit like a gallery, so the machine becomes part of the home rather than something parked beneath it. A bayfront boardwalk and private marina line the water, and the amenity floors rise from a residents' lounge to a waterfront wellness level and a rooftop pool that takes in the full sweep of the bay.

The setting is its own argument. North Bay Village is a cluster of islands between Miami Beach and the mainland, close to the causeways yet held apart from them, where the light off Biscayne Bay turns the curved facade through the day.
